Field Kitchens Oblast Odessa
Especially in view of the upcoming winter months, field kitchens are an important facility in Ukraine to ensure a mobile supply of hot meals. Three field kitchens have already been purchased by the Solidarity Ukraine Foundation and transferred to Ukraine in mid-October. The field kitchens are to be used in Odessa Oblast, which was recently hit by a severe winter storm. As a result, the infrastructure, which was already badly damaged by the Russian war of aggression, was further affected. At times, 150,000 households in the city of Odessa were without electricity. Mobile field kitchens are an important point of contact for both the local population and aid workers in such emergencies.
